Despite severe setbacks, I think that my landscape turned out both how I wanted and very well too. I managed to create the line of sight I spoke about ealry in development, leading the viewers eyes direct to the temple at the centre back. Im glad that the room inside of the temple was not just empty space as well, as I managed to fill it with appropriate decorations and clutter that fit with my theme of Fantasy Beauty. Im quite happy that I managed to represent a spring day in a hidden fantasy valley, even if it meant I had to start from scratch.
I managed to take a series of beauty shots, showcasing the detail that I added to the interior of the temple, as well as views of the garden. I made sure to focus on each of the tables, as I wanted to make them look genuinley used, so as well as the plant pots, I added plant debris on the tables to add to the narrative of someone has been her before you but has since left. For my video showcasing my environment as a whole, I chose to add fantasy style music, as well as forest ambiance to further link my landscape to my overall theme. After recording all of my clips through Unreal, I added the music and sounds afterwards in Adobe Premiere.
If I was to create my landscape another time, I would have wanted to explore lighting more to possibly give an entirely different mood to the environment as a whole. I might have also made a specific plan for my foliage placement, because I felt like I had planned all of the physiucal structures but not the plants surrounding it. But besides these, Im very happy with my end result and I think that I made a successful sset that fits with my theme that I chose, Fantasy Beauty.
